This drawing is an exploration into the relationship between turbulence patterns and geometric patterns. The same pattern is rendered in two different ways. On the left a single vortex is formed while on the right a field of vortexes emerge. At the center of each vortex in the drawing is a point. In geometric terms they can be called “points at infinity.” For the artist this drawing builds the feeling that every object he encounters in his expansive research-based practice is an instance of infinite depth.
