Conflux refers to a long running debate: Where exactly was Jesus baptized? It is a performative work. Two on-site baptizing robes were purchased. Wearing the first, Littwitz baptized herself on the Israeli bank. While wearing the other, she swam under the national border to baptize in the Jordanian side. In the middle of the folded robes is a collage of two aerial images taken by the British in 1945 as well as a water sample from each bank.
