The entire area of the baptizing site, or as it’s better known, “The Land of Pursuits,” is a matrix of signs and symbols. Border lines, military fences, religious iconography, agricultural indicators, the blown-out Abdallah bridge, and many others. It's also sprinkled with Landmines. On landmine warning signs, Littwitz has drawn fragments of a plant that is genetically engineered to detect mines underground by changing its color from green to red.
