Akumulator is a one-to-one scale replica of a gym Marcin Dudek built in a squatted basement of a Krakow council estate in the 1990s. The installation is a memory box, a sanctuary of neglected materials, which illustrates his anti-readymade approach. Materials include those recuperated from the original space, those salvaged from other experiences, and those, which were part of artistic performances between 2013 – 2018.
