This sculpture gives form to an antinomy, to the relationship between two opposites. Data taken from a simulation of helium in the first instances of ignition is rendered using algorithms developed in the field of biology to model cell division in growing human embryos. This object is both the form of a destructive explosion and life emerging at the once.

Following this approach of combining seeming opposites, Ahmed materialized the virtual form using 3D modelling and printing techniques. He then used traditional oil painting techniques to treat the surface. The colors are inspired by the those assigned in the computer simulation to represent expanding and contracting areas.
