"Printed with an Epson Inkjet printer on c. 1970/80s arsenic laced office paper from Beuhner’s Supply Co. Inc. on Detroit Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. The owner explained to me that the blue arsenic coating the edge of the paper was meant as an insecticide. If you stack the sheets together they appear guilded at the edges a uniform blue. Beuhner’s Supply Co. also sells motorcycle parts." - TR Ericsson
The office supply shop in Cleveland becomes a decaying monument to a once vibrant industry now replaced mostly by computers and chain stores. Images lost to time, in poisonous papers, also lost to time, a general impermanence that also relates back to the works in nicotine.
