Sheida Soleimani is currently showing her work in On the Wall: Sheida Soleimani , a solo exhibition in Reilly Gallery, Smith Center for the Arts – Providence College Galleries, USA.
Through PCG's annual commission of large-scale art works directly applied to the walls of the gallery, in her work subtitled Ghostwriter the artist for the first time ever explicitly explores her family's history. With visual accounts of her parents’ life in Iran and the United States as political activists and refugees, Sheida Soleimani "pulls together collective memories and personal narratives to portray how the political past and its residual effects remain ever-present."
