Since its inception, Harlan Levey Projects has continually brought exceptional artists and curators from Ohio to Belgium, creating cultural exchanges between the European capital and the Great Lakes. This has included extensive projects with Haseeb Ahmed, TR Ericsson and Sheida Soleimani , as well as exhibitions and public programming with Roopa Vasudevan (in collaboration with SPACES), DJ Hellerman, Meghana Karnik, Zach Bruder and others.
On Saturday August 5th, HLP is honored to co-organize an intimate event in Cleveland for the first time. On the back of his recent exhibition “Come Home with Me” at Gallery 2602 (a project by Deidre McPherson and Thea Spittle), Antwoine Washington will open his studio to a small group of patrons and curators as he prepares for his first exhibition in Belgium, which will take place at the gallery in 2024.
