Andrea Éva Györi’s first solo exhibition in the U.S. opens on October 31st, at New York’s Thomas Erben Gallery. The exhibition runs until December 20, 2024.
This exhibition showcases Györi’s remarkable exploration of the female body, sexuality, and psychological introspection through a selection of works on paper spanning from 2014 to 2022, alongside her video Talking to Breasts, filmed after her breast cancer diagnosis in 2017.
The exhibition unveils Györi's commitment to creating spaces of trust and healing for women, inviting them to engage with themes of pleasure, trauma, and community.
