EXHIBITION | ELLA LITTWITZ

GUGGENHEIM PRIZE EXHIBITION AT BINZ39, ZURICH

Ella Littwitz presents two "Tears" at BINZ39 in Zurich as part of the 2024 Guggenheim Prize exhibition. Opening on November 23, the exhibition highlights a selection of works by Littwitz and fellow Guggenheim Prize recipient Georg Keller. The selection explores themes of identity, borders, and the nuanced role of art in engaging with cultural and political conflicts.

Founded in 2018 by the Dr. Georg and Josi Guggenheim Foundation, the Guggenheim Prize and Residency fosters dialogue between Switzerland and the Middle East. While the residency is on pause due to current political conditions, the foundation is presenting past recipients' work through a public exhibition series.

In an artist talk during the opening night, both artists will provide insights into their creative practices. They will be joined by artist Khalil Rabah (*1961), who was part of the residency jury. The exhibition is curated by Mirjam Varadinis and runs through December 7, 2024.
