INSTITUTIONAL EXHIBITION | EMMANUEL VAN DER AUWERA

Group exhibition at Galerie Rudolfinum, Prague

Emmanuel Van der Auwera will present VideoSculpture XXV (Archons) in Poetics of Encryption, a group exhibition at Galerie Rudolfinum, Prague, from February 12 to May 11, 2025. The exhibition explores the hidden architectures of the digital age, delving into themes of surveillance, opacity, and the language of technology.

Poetics of Encryption is a traveling exhibition initiated by KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, with the support of Volkswagen Group. Following presentations at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen and KW in Berlin, the exhibition now continues its journey in Prague, bringing together leading contemporary artists engaging with the intersections of art and technology.

Van der Auwera’s VideoSculpture XXV (Archons) exemplifies his ongoing exploration of digital culture and its impact on collective perception and identity. The work invites reflection on the structures of visibility and the role of technology in mediating our understanding of reality.
