"Things come full circle. As I begin a residency at the Cité Internationale des arts in Paris this week, my friends at Winona in Brussels will be showing a series of drawings I made in Paris in 2018, which I have kept to myself until now. These works were drawn directly from the manuscript of Pierre Klossowski’s ‘Nietzsche et le cercle vicieux’ held at the Bibliothèque Littéraire Jacques Doucet. This selection of draft pages model subjects of intentionality, health, mimicry, automaticism and the double that course through the book. These drawings marked a pivotal shift in my work. I’m delighted to show these in great company as I begin the second phase of this work in Paris."
