MUSEUM ACQUISITION | SHEIDA SOLEIMANI

We're pleased to announce that Sheida Soleimani's Khooros (rooster) named Manoocher, 2021, has been acquired by the Cranbrook Art Museum (Bloomfield Hills, US). 

 

This photograph is part of Soleimani's Ghostwriter series, in which she explores her parents’ experiences of political exile and migration as a lens to examine broader systems of geopolitics. 

 

The Ghostwriter series is currently the subject of Soleimani's solo exhibition, "Panjereh", at the International Center of Photography (New York, US). Please read more about the exhibition here.
