EXHIBITION | AMÉLIE BOUVIER

Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles, Paris

Amélie Bouvier is participating in La condition extra-terrestre, a group exhibition curated by the Observatoire de l’Espace (CNES), opening September 12th at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles, Paris.

Opening: September 12, from 18:00 - 22:00

On view from September 13 - 27, 2025.

Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles Paris

127-129, rue Saint Martin – 75004 Paris

The exhibition brings together twelve artists whose practices consider how human life might be imagined beyond Earth. Framing the “extra-terrestrial condition” as both a physical and psychological space, the project reflects on how outer space shapes our understanding of the world we inhabit—and the futures we construct.

Bouvier joins a group of artists exploring how these perspectives filter back to Earth, influencing our scientific, technical, and spiritual realities. Her ongoing interest in the epistemologies of astronomy, erased histories, and the politics of observation resonates deeply with the show's inquiries.

The Extra-Terrestrial Condition is part of the Observatoire de l’Espace's hors les murs program, which supports new artistic research rooted in the cultural dimensions of space.
