EXHIBITION | AMÉLIE BOUVIER

Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles, Paris

Amélie Bouvier is participating in The Extra-Terrestrial Condition, a group exhibition curated by the Observatoire de l’Espace (CNES), opening 13 September at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles, Paris.

The exhibition brings together twelve artists whose practices consider how human life might be imagined beyond Earth. Framing the “extra-terrestrial condition” as both a physical and psychological space, the project reflects on how outer space shapes our understanding of the world we inhabit—and the futures we construct.

Amélie joins a group of artists exploring how these perspectives filter back to Earth, influencing our scientific, technical, and spiritual realities. Her ongoing interest in the epistemologies of astronomy, erased histories, and the politics of observation resonates deeply with the show's inquiries.

The Extra-Terrestrial Condition is part of the Observatoire de l’Espace's hors les murs program, which supports new artistic research rooted in the cultural dimensions of space.
